Video of Kevin Johnson’s testimony against “blacklisting” is now available

Kevin Johnson contacted me yesterday evening to let me know that he has posted a video of his testimony before the Maryland House of Representatives, Economic Matters Committee, on “blacklisting.”  For more detail on blacklisting, you can see the video, read some of Kevin’s posts (this one is a great start), and read some of the previous posts we have presented here on the ChangeInTerms.com site:

In particular, see this one on redlining (the terms “redlining” and “blacklisting” both refer to “profiling” customers in ways that are unfair):

This more recent post refers to Kevin and his trip to Maryland (and blacklisting):

Next, credit card companies may decide that you went to a drug store, bought a prescription and are therefore associated with a supposed “increased risk” — must be sick; great time to raise interest rates or fees, and “kick ‘em while they’re down.”

We applaud Kevin’s efforts.  Please support him and his site, NewCreditRules.com.
