I think about ten thousand stories in small local papers where you all live with a title such as, “How the Chase Card Services Grinch Stole Christmas,” has some appeal.
Get going, you must act fast. Call your local paper and pitch the story before Christmas. To do this, call a columnist or an editor and ask for an appointment (better), or present your ideas on the phone.
To this, I would add, there’s nothing wrong with TV (so if at first you don’t succeed, try, try, again). For the first time in my married life, I did not give my wife a Christmas present, at all.
